Leicestershire ASA County Championships

Well done to all the swimmers that took part in this years Leicestershire ASA County Championships. Hinckley swimmers did exceptionally well this year with the boy’s team coming 3rd and the Girls team 1st winning the Centenary Trophy. Andrew Wainscot and Claire Sands won the Chris White Trophies for the top individual boy and girl at the championships with Lucy Hall taking second place in the girls. To cap a magnificent championships Claire Sands won the trophy for the fastest combined 50m (i.e total for all four strokes) with Lucy Hall 3rd, with Andrew Wainscot 3rd in the boys. In all Hinckley won four of the six trophies awarded for overall performance at the Leicestershire ASA County Championships. Paul said “you could have heard a pin drop when Hinckley’s name was announced as winners!”
