The club has a time trial series that runs on the first of April, may, June, July, September, October, November & December. It starts at 5:30 and is a competition for all main pool swimmers. There are 4 events at 25m (7-9 years) or 50m (10+) on all four strokes.  There is a new competition over 100m on IM and the four strokes.

Points are awarded 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 in each age group for the fastest times, but also as the year progresses a category for those who have made the most improvement is also awarded.

Bear Trophy 100m Competition The Bear Trophy 100m events are being changed this year, they will now include 100m IM’s. The IM’s and your commitment to doing the 100m events after the normal 50m Bear Trophy events will be used to award swimmers that make a commitment to the events and show the greatest improvement in their IM times. The rules for these new awards will be on display at Sunday’s (9th May) Bear Trophy but if you want to read ahead we've attached them below:
